Our English Briefcase is one of the most classic ones around, a briefcase that represents more than just leather and hardware.
With solid-brass buckles attached to straps that wrap wholly around the bag, a double-gusseted structure to allow for a fully leather interior zipper panel, and a six-layer leather handle, the English Briefcase is the most thoughtfully constructed briefcase around. A detachable shoulder strap allows for on-shoulder, cross-body, or in-hand carry.

Classic American craftsmanship at its very best
I received my English Leather Briefcase today, and I'm still in awe of its beautiful rich colour and its gorgeous suppleness. It's easily the most beautiful briefcase I've ever owned, and I'm looking forward to a long future with it. As a writer (as opposed to a businessman) I appreciate not only the classic lines of this briefcase, but also its roguish suggestion of adventures about to happen, and its lack of prissy over-refinement. I also can't say enough about the customer service, which has likely made a lifetime Lotuff client already. Just gorgeous, and made in New England--no way to improve on that sort of perfection.

I have thoroughly enjoyed the bag over the past few months of use, and look forward to many more years with it. If I had one concern, it would be about the strength of the top strap, to which the handle attaches - this has begun to show some streching despite generally having a light to medium load in the bag. If I could suggest one improvement, I would encourage you to find a less yellow brass to use for your hardware (Equus Leather in Britain uses a much paler, but incredibly good quality, brass in their belts, etc.). Please don't take either of those comments as complaints, as I truly love my purchase and have heartily recommended Lotuff Leather to my friends and colleagues. I will be sure to look to you again as soon as I have occaision to purchase other leather goods

I will traveling and working in the middle east and anticipate a lot of 'briefcase envy' among the locals and expats. It's good to know such things are not only made in America but right here in MA. This briefcase is fantastic - the leather is beautiful, it's very sturdy, and the custom pocket inside is really perfect for me. I love that it's an outstanding but it's understated. Fits me great, all around. What more can I say?
