    I will tell you that my husband is absolutely thrilled with the product. BUT, that doesn't mean it didn't take a fair share of headaches to finally get it. I had ordered it in early May, hopefully in time for our anniversary (as per the timeframe on the website), and when it didn't arrive by then, I was hoping to have it by Father's Day. When that came and went, and still no portfolio, his disappointment was palpable. Despite constant assurances that we would receive it by July 1, I think we finally got it sometime in the later half of July--almost 3.5 months after the order was placed. They did emboss it and send a wallet at no extra charge. We probably would not have been as disappointed if the website gave an accurate portrayal of how long it would take in real time.


    That being said, my husband was so happy with the product that he ordered the matching padfolio and was assured that the time delay wouldn't happen again. ( I believe his order # is 641 but I am not 100% sure...) And of course, he is now in the same predicament waiting and waiting. Hopefully his new product can be embossed at no extra charge at the very least for this delay, or some kind of discount applied.


    It makes it very hard to fully back a recommendation for the products. While we have told many friends how happy we are with the products, we also warn them that it takes a very very long time to receive them.

    I actually just sold it on Ebay and took a nice $ loss as well.

    I loved the color and the quality of the work, but it was far too large for an underarm case (17" is the standard briefcase size) and, because it has no internal supports, it would bend and flop around while I carried it. I had to place two legal size pads inside all the time to act as a support to keep it from bending and flopping around.


    I replaced it with a proper underarm case, handmade in England with a firm structure. I would have purchased my bespoke briefcase from you as well, but after the Portfolio experience, I thought that it would have a similar lack of structure that would not make it stand on it's own, etc...The leather and workmanship of your products is wonderful, but in all brutal honesty, the design needs to be improved.
