Simply put, this is the weekender bag for the ages - the one that changes the rules of travel forever.
Designed with travel in mind, the duffle has an extended zipper that allows for incredibly easy packing and access and is sized perfectly to carry on the plane. With an adjustable, detachable shoulder strap attached to solid-brass d-rings, the duffle can be carried both in hand or on shoulder.
An all-leather construction and reinforced leather bottom allow for years of travel. As your passport book fills up and gets replaced, you'll have the peace of mind that your weekender bag will stay the same.
Got my bag a few weeks back and have already used it on a campout with my boy, and two traveling trips. This bag is the kind of bag you have 30-40 years after purchase, and still love it. The leather, quality of zipper (which is most important in my opinion), are top notch. Worth every penny, and thinking about getting the rest of a set for all of mine and my wife's travels. Thank you!
The duffle I ordered earlier this month was for my husband. He absolutely loves it! I do too. The quality is superb and the color is extremely rich. Well done.
I am sure when our boys see it, they will want one as well.
I looked at a lot of bags. It's clear I made the right choice. The quality and workmanship are consistent with what I saw from Hermès, which was the other brand I was considering.
Absolutely irresistible bag. Can't wait to start to use it
My husband and I have finally opened up our boxes (they were Christmas presents for each other) and the bags are really beautiful. We can't wait to take our first trip with them.
I arrived home today to find my bag. Of course, it will take some time to see how it goes as it gets use, but quite unexpectedly I'm struck with a love-at-first-sight first impression. This goes for the bag and the company. As someone born and bred in New Hampshire, who spent summers in Maine, and has family in Massachusetts and Connecticut, I like to think it must be the New England roots.
Whatever it is, thank you. I kind of wish you guys made everything...
I received my Lotuff Leather Duffel early this spring. It’s a fine bag—handsomely elegant in the simplest ways. I took the bag out west; to Denver, Boulder, Crestone and Taos. It carried well, and received several compliments. I recently used the bag on a trip to New York—where the world’s finest bags sprout like weeds—and I’m happy to report that I didn’t see a bag I’d have traded for. Now, I use the bag weekly, as a carryall, for two-day trips to Boston, and it’s sized well as an overnighter.
It’s simple—the bag feels good and looks great.
Thanks and best regards,
I looked long and hard for a duffle like this and was elated to find one that is actually made in the USA. The quality is superlative, not to mention it is really an excellent design - the best I've seen in fact.
The handles are formed just right to fold into themselves and stay put, the straps are spaced correctly to keep weight distributed evenly, the leather is the right thickness and smells wonderful, the extra-long zipper is a fantastic idea, the shoulder strap is wide enough to be comfortable and the roughout backing keeps it from sliding around very effectively. I always thought of soft bags having feet as a half-baked idea, so the fact they were omitted here is fine with me. I actually find it handy to be able to set it on the car, as well as the practicality of loading it on any table.
The RiRi zipper looks to be a nice Eloxal 8, although at this price I was expecting a Top 8E, or better yet a Solid 10. The finish of the leather is top notch, with impeccable grain and the unmistakable "matte shine" of properly-tanned leather. The chestnut color is deep, rich and even, with a sort of burgundy tint to it that makes it look much more special than your typical brown would be.
It's is a lot more masculine than a Louis Vuitton, a lot more rugged than a Bally, and a lot more purposeful than a Tusting. I can't ask for more, it's the perfect duffle for me.
